Free trading strategy games
Buy low. Fly far. Don't get caught.
Drug Lord is a series of fast, numbers-first strategy games about a market that never sits still. You start broke and in debt to a loan shark, and you have a few weeks of game days to turn a pocketful of cash into an empire. Prices move every day, every city wants something different, and every flight is a gamble.
No download needed: both games run in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

The classic
Drug Lord 2
- 15 cities
- 7 ranks
- 30-day runs
- Loan sharks
- 8 languages
The original, rebuilt. A lean game of quick decisions: one market screen, one departures list, a shop, five loan sharks and a hard deadline. A run takes ten minutes to learn and a lot longer to master. Perfect for a coffee break.
One free profile signs you in to both games and puts your name on the leaderboards. Signing up is optional: you can always play as a guest.
How a run works
- Start in the redYou land in a random city with $1,000 in your pocket, half of it borrowed from Buddles, a loan shark who charges interest every single day. Paying him back early is the first lesson.
- Trade the spreadEvery city sets its own prices and they move daily. Each market shows a price chart with the normal range shaded in. Buy near the bottom of the band, sell near the top, and do it in the city where your stock is scarce.
- Beat the clockYour rank is your net worth: cash plus bank. Reach the next threshold before the deadline and you are promoted, which raises how much you can carry and adds days to the calendar. Miss it and the run ends.
- Survive the streetGangs, police checkpoints, customs and your own loan sharks all want a cut. Fight, bribe or run, and spread your risk with banking, safe houses and couriers. A single bad flight can undo a week of work.

A note on the theme. These are strategy games about a fictional underworld, in the tradition of the trading games people have played on computers since the 1980s. The economy, the gangs and the events are invented and are not modelled on real prices or real people. Both games open with a plain warning, and we mean it: real drugs ruin real lives. The games contain crime themes and cartoon violence, and they are not made for children.
